Dynamic memory management in high-concurrency workloads is often limited by cache-line traffic and synchronization overhead. This work presents a lock-free memory-pool block allocator that embeds a singly-linked free list directly inside each block and uses atomic compare-and-swap (CAS) primitives to mediate concurrent acquire and release. The design guarantees that the invariant used + free = capacity holds under sequential consistency, and that each operation is linearizable. Empirical evaluation on a Microsoft Azure virtual machine powered by an AMD EPYC 9V45 (96-core) host processor (1 physical core / 2 logical threads, 7.8 GB RAM) under Linux shows a mean allocation latency of 492.32 µss ( = 39.63 µss) and a sustained throughput of 2,031,185 ops/s over 30 benchmark iterations. These results demonstrate that the allocator achieves predictable performance despite contention on a shared free-list pointer.
