Aether-Function Destination Chains vs. Chronos-Queue Fanout: Event Routing Topolog...

Abstract

We investigate the interaction between Aether-Function destination chains and Chronos-Queue fan-out in a PHP-based event routing engine. The study formalizes the graph-topology of handler-to-queue connections, derives asymptotic bounds on edge counts, and proves an invariant that guarantees acyclicity and optimal sub-structure during dynamic reconfiguration. Empirical evaluation on an AMD EPYC 9V74 platform shows a mean latency of 37,828.64 µss, a P95 tail of 39,796.91 µss, and a sustained throughput of 26,435 ops/s across 30 iterations. The results confirm that retry-limited Aether-Function handlers preserve event ordering while fan-out queues maintain bounded growth.
