We investigate how a single stateful parser, shared across multiple routers, can propagate two distinct bugs---an off-by-one length field and a missing state reset---through a network flow engine. The model captures the deterministic interaction between parser state, ring buffer capacity, and forwarding logic, yielding a formal invariant that the token ring never exceeds its fixed capacity. We prove that the invariant holds for any sequence of well-formed frames and identify the precise failure modes when malformed frames are injected. Empirical evaluation on an AMD EPYC 7763 platform with 30 benchmark iterations shows a mean latency of 60 682.60 µss, a throughput of 16 479 ops/s, and a P99 tail of 76 859.03 µss. These results confirm the theoretical bounds and expose the amplification effect of shared state.
