Copy-on-write (CoW) vectors offer a lightweight mechanism for sharing immutable data while preserving isolation during mutation. We formalize the CoW vector buffer management in Aether-Flux, proving that the data structure preserves element order and guarantees isolation under concurrent cloning. The implementation uses Arc<Vec<T>> to share buffers and triggers a deep copy only when a mutable reference is requested. We establish that push, get, and set operations run in amortized O(1) time, while the copy-on-write cost is O(n) only when the reference count exceeds one. Empirical evaluation on an AMD EPYC 9V45 system yields a mean latency of 664.87 µss and a throughput of 1,504,049 ops/s.
